Dr. Ferrer Receives the Laure Aurelian Award for Junior Faculty @ UMSOM
Christina was the recipient of the 2024 Laure Aurelian Prize.

This prestigious award recognizes outstanding contributions from early-career faculty in one of three categories:

researchers conducting innovative basic or translational biomedical research,

researchers advancing the study of women’s health, or
-
junior faculty who demonstrate exceptional mentorship in biomedical research.

Forbeck Metastasis Meeting
Dr. Ferrer attended the Forbeck Foundation Symposium on Metastatic Disease with her postdoctoral mentor Dr. Raul Mostoslavsly. As a Forbeck Scholar, Dr. Ferrer was able to network and discuss metastatic biology with the premiere leaders in the field.
